The True Cost of Believing in "Number 1".

Most of us believe that numbers and labels represent the truth about persons, animals or objects, when in fact they do the opposite.

There are very few people who know the devastating consequences of believing in numbers, particularly the number 1. Many people are skeptical, but this simple article may open your eyes.

The image below represents what all adults see. They see the same but through a lens of education which automatically attaches numbers (and other labels) to everything and then believe it to be fact.

No one may think there is anything wrong with their comprehension of the second image, yet all humanity's problems originated from this incorrect understanding.

Most people forget that the "number 1", is just a label that was taught to us at home or school. Numbers do not actually exist anywhere in our world, but are a human invention that we learned to place on people or objects. If we remembered that the "number 1" is merely something projected by our minds onto images like in photo #1, there would be no wars or problems in the world.

Recall the first few years after your birth before you were exposed to any names, labels or numbers and you can tell it was very different from your present point of view. We are currently so used to using numbers and labels, we actually believe that one, two, three, etc. and the names of entities actually exist in the physical world. However, the truth is that humans, animals, plants and objects, are not singular individuals, but are all one being.

Humans and animals may possess bodies and minds, but the body and the mind contain endless different parts. The body is made up of large ones like the head and torso down to smaller ones like atoms and quarks, etc, each existing as a result of something else. The mind is non-physical, thus it is made up of ever-smaller space-like parts, countless different moments existing because of the last one like an ever-unfolding event. There are countless moments in a single second of the mind, which too are endlessly dependent on smaller moments. There is nothing inside or outside the mind that is singular or unchanging for if there was, we wouldn't need the mind or body to experience it (sense of time, or experience). However, this is simply impossible.

Thus, there can be no doubt that beings such as humans, animals, and plants as well as inanimate objects like cars are not singular and thus should not be treated as such. Despite this, and because of our habit of naming them as 1, 2, 3, we treat them as if they were. If we treated everything according to how everything actually exists, there would be no conflicts, prejudice, hate, fear, etc. Since everything is one entity, any conflict would be inconceivable. For why would you have a problem or desire if you were one with all existence?

Next time you use the label ” number 1”, please realize that the label (idea) is a result of your own mind doing, and it is not coming form the person, animal or object you are perceiving. The moment you believe in that label, you are overriding the truth of your experience.  You create a false image of a separation that only exists in labels. These false perceptions have brought about every problem or suffering you can think of throughout history starting with the label “number 1” (or similar meaning label). Once we accept number 1 to be real, every other number is accepted as real. But if number 1 is not real, can the number 2, 3, and so on be real?

This constant issue is the root of all humanity's problems. However, if we can just accept this fact, it may be is enough to erase all previous conditioning and bring worldwide harmony. It is a simple way to end all hate, conflicts and wars. There is no time like the present to enact this solution. Please, join us if you believe in making this fact accessible to all.
